Grupo Cador has been selected by Factorial, a leading tech unicorn in Europe, to design and build its new corporate headquarters in the Illacuna complex, located in Barcelona’s innovative 22@ district.
With a surface area of 8,000 m², this project addresses Factorial’s rapid growth, as the company has been operating across multiple buildings in the area due to its fast-paced international expansion, adding more than 40 employees each week.
The new headquarters will host over 1,000 employees, combining hybrid work models to optimize both in-person experience and flexibility.
To become a benchmark
Conceived to become a benchmark in workspaces, it aims to improve employee well-being and promote collaboration. Its design focuses on an innovative and flexible environment, aligned with the company’s values and identity.
The project includes a wide variety of spaces, from focus areas to high-impact common areas, designed for events and team-building activities.
The new offices will feature advanced solutions in flexibility, acoustic comfort, and technological innovation, ensuring that each space can adapt and evolve according to Factorial’s changing needs.
Sustainability “Triple E”
The complex, where Factorial will occupy the entire building C (5,600 m²) and two floors of building A (2,400 m²), follows the “Triple E” model (Experience, Environmental, Efficiency), focusing on open, sustainable, and efficient spaces.
Additionally, it holds the BREEAM environmental certification, an area where Grupo Cador brings its expertise, optimizing design and construction processes to ensure they are efficient and environmentally responsible.
