Implementation of a 5-story educational building
Grupo Cador has executed the implementation of the new XTART Vocational Training center in Alcorcón (Madrid), a building of 5,300 m² distributed over five floors.
Designed to accommodate 1,500 students, the center offers modern and functional spaces that promote practical training and educational innovation.
The project is attached to the Alfonso X el Sabio University (UAX) and has been developed in collaboration with The Valley, reinforcing the connection between education and business.
Project challenges
- Opening of large openings in concrete slabs for the passage of installations.
- Comprehensive renovation of all the building's technical systems.
- Advance the execution with part of the design still in development (fast-track).
- Meet a very tight deadline without compromising quality or safety.
Implemented solutions
- Comprehensive construction management and coordination with the design team in parallel with the constructive progress.
- Implementation of new technical systems (electrical installations, air conditioning, telecommunications, security).
- Adaptation of spaces for educational uses: Classrooms, specialized laboratories, workshops and computer rooms
