On September 7th, one of our best clients, BANCO PICHINCHA, invited us to an inauguration event. The office on C/Velázquez, 49 in Madrid, which together with those in Barcelona, Valencia, Bilbao, and Zaragoza, has created the entity to provide physical support to Pibank, its new commercial venture in Spain, was opened to the public.
At CADOR, we have carried out the projects, the comprehensive execution of the works, and the outfitting of these five premises. “Is that a bank?” was heard around our office every time a colleague, not directly involved in the project, saw a plan, or one of the samples that we were putting together for the client’s team in our offices.
Well, yes, it is a bank, or if you prefer, a financial services store, where tile predominates, yellow and blue, where there are unique objects, from a designer umbrella stand to a piano that “plays itself”. A bank where the client does not wait because there is always a Pibank person to greet them. A bank where there are no work tables or computers, but rather sofas and tablets.
“It has been a demanding project with very short deadlines and a tight budget, but tremendously enriching for us due to its novelty and, above all, due to the fact of being able to work from the very genesis of the concept, side by side with the client and the creative team, providing the constructive solutions that best allow it to be put into practice.”
From here, we wish Pibank a long trajectory. Its offices reflect its philosophy of making “things easy”, but we know that making it possible has been the result of the hard work of its professionals and those who, to one extent or another, have collaborated in making them a reality.
