
Bridgestone Mobility Solutions opens office in Barcelona's 22@
A turnkey Design & Build project in the 22@ district
Grupo Cador has designed and built the new headquarters of Bridgestone Mobility Solutions in the 22@ district of Barcelona, one of the most dynamic technology hubs in Europe.
The technology subsidiary of the Japanese multinational specializing in fleet management was looking for a space that reflected its global corporate identity and integrated the essence of Barcelona in a hybrid and collaborative work model.

Project challenges
- Integrate global brand + local essence (“glocal” vision).
- Create a flexible space adapted to agile methodologies and hybrid work.
- Achieve high standards of sustainability, comfort and technology.
- Execute under turnkey mode with tight deadlines and direct coordination with manufacturers.



Implemented solutions
Workplace Strategy
- Occupancy analysis, interviews and workshops with local and international stakeholders (Amsterdam and Brussels).
- Implementation of brainstorming, game room, demo area and sprint rooms areas.
Interior Design
- Concept based on 4 pillars: corporate identity, sustainability, technology and Barcelona.
- Strategic incorporation of the brand: logo, color palette, vinyls and a sculptural metal staircase that connects the main floors.
- ‘Glocal’ approach: tribute to the Diagonal of Barcelona in floors, ceilings and lighting; room names inspired by iconic places in the city.
Sustainability and Comfort
- Ecological materials: emission-neutral carpets, ergonomic furniture and adjustable height desks.
- Biophilic design: vegetation, natural light and reduction of energy consumption.
- Acoustic comfort: sound-absorbing ceilings, acoustic panels on tables, double-glazed partitions and high-performance carpet.
Advanced technology
- State-of-the-art IT infrastructure.
- Cutting-edge video conferencing systems in all rooms.
- Technological demo area next to the custom-made wooden reception desk.





Results
- An educational center of 5,300 m² completed in 2024, prepared to welcome 1,500 students.
- Modern and versatile facilities that combine classrooms, workshops and collaborative spaces.
- Project that promotes new opportunities for young people and reinforces the role of Alcorcón as an educational center.
- Reinforcement of Grupo Cador's experience in the education sector.
