Hotel reconversion with international standards

Cador Mexico has carried out the reconversion of the hotel The Local Mazatlán to transform it into a DoubleTree by Hilton, in line with the demanding standards of the international brand. This project reinforces our experience in the renovation and adaptation of hotel assets in the Mexican market.

The hotel has 27,000 m² and is located in Mazatlán (Sinaloa). Our interior design and architecture team executed the adaptation of key spaces, redefining the look & feel of the hotel to align it with the Hilton brand and generate greater appeal for new clients.

Project challenges

  • Reconversion of an existing hotel to the standards of Hilton DoubleTree.
  • Adapt key areas of the asset to the operation and image requirements of the brand.
  • Redefine layout, finishes and interior design in an already functioning environment.

Implemented solutions

  • Redesign of strategic areas: restaurant, public bathrooms, reception / connectivity zone and Five Feet to Fitness spaces.
  • Change of layouts and updating of finishes to create a new aesthetic concept.
  • Adaptations of the architectural project to comply with the Hilton manual.
