I want to go to the office.

Since Cador began in 1980, we have experienced a spectacular evolution in the design and implementation of offices.

At that time, we worked in compartmentalization, closed offices where hierarchy was the working model, and individual positions. At that time, people were not given importance; the truly important thing was to attend your job, and the current values of freedom and flexibility were certainly not prioritized.

For some years now, the change as a result of increasing digitization and the trend towards well-being, increased by the COVID-19 situation, means that the office model has changed radically.

coworkingThe new work models, which are characterized by flexibility and in which the worker, like the client, is the center of the company, require different spaces:

  • Open spaces where communication is facilitated, in which the hierarchy as it was previously understood loses strength and leaders want to be in constant contact with their team.
  • Unassigned positions, so that employees can move according to the needs of the team or their own comfort.
  • Concentration areas to carry out work without being disturbed.
  • Walls, with vinyls, blackboards, etc., are becoming important, as they serve to collect ideas and are ideal for companies that use agile methodologies.
  • Paperless spaces, given that the commitment to sustainability is increasingly strong and, thanks to digitization, we can eliminate paper documentation, which results in the reduction of cabinets, ensuring that offices are not cluttered.
  • Comfortable meeting areas, where teams can work with new technologies, macro screens, etc.
  • Leisure areas, where you can share with colleagues other moments that are not work and that always increase belonging to the company.

All this makes offices pleasant, healthy and even fun, both for junior and senior talent.

Human resources departments are essential in the process of office change, as they know perfectly what employees demand, and consider that we are currently facing the opportunity to present them with an extra motivation, beyond their remuneration package or the social benefits that are provided to them.

Office recreation

People are social beings and, although technology has made our lives much easier in general, we need to relate personally. We want healthy offices for our physical and mental health. The hybrid model is perfect to be able to fit our personal life with work life and if a person feels good, comfortable, in a facilitating environment, it is certain that productivity will increase.

I like to go to the office, what about you?
